Part-Time Content Capture Assistant

Location: On-site across Lake County, IL
Position Type: Part-Time, Hourly (Event-Based)

BBQ’d Productions and Station 51 are seeking a part-time Content Capture Assistant to help document in-store moments, community events, and brand-led experiences. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys capturing real-time content, has an eye for detail, and understands the fast-paced nature of restaurant and event environments.

Key Responsibilities

Capture photo and video content during events, promotional shoots, and restaurant sessions

Use provided equipment (smartphone and DJI Osmo) to film short-form content

Follow a provided shot list or content direction, while identifying spontaneous moments worth capturing

Assist with simple setup for reels or video sessions (lighting, staging, angles)

Upload raw content to a shared drive promptly after each session

Qualifications

Must be local to Lake County, IL and available for on-site work

Experience capturing content for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok, etc.)

Familiarity with smartphone photography/videography; comfort using a DJI Osmo is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a small team

Flexible availability; evenings and weekends occasionally required

Must submit 2–3 content samples with application (photo, video, or social post examples)

Compensation

Hourly, based on experience

Role is part-time and event-based (4–6 events per month on average)
